Fans of Apple better get ready for a bigger, better TV experience. It is reported that the popular, tech company will be releasing a newer, bigger sister to the original TV streaming device.
Meet Apple TV 4, a larger on TV device that will include Siri and newer App store that has API feature built in. This will enable developers to create and release apps on the console. The downside will be the price jump, as it will sold around $150.00 up to $200.00. This news comes at the heels of their earlier HBO deal and lowering the price of the original Apple TV to $69.00.
The popular device has changed the face of streaming and made ditching cable that much more “cool”. Now Apple is hoping to grow their TV content deals with other networks & services. It is reported that the huge HBO deal was just a tip of the mega monster cable replacing service Apple hopes to release. Their goal is to seal, sign and deliver TV shows and films to homes for $40.00 per month. Clearly that is still down the ways, but it looks like Apple TV is getting closer to their goal.
Will you upgrade your current Apple TV and would you subscribe to Apple’s streaming service if they launch it net year?
