If you are going back to school, chances are that you will need some electronics to help. Granted, this post is more aimed for high school students and college students-but we can still agree that no matter what age or grade you will need to use some sort of tech. So lets take a look at some options that are good picks for the busy student of today.
As I talked about some time ago, some schools are allowing e-textbooks. No need to bring those heavy, back breaking books around anymore! Popular options of course would be the Kindle and Nook. But you may find a few other options out there as well. Some sites like eBay and Amazon sell lesser brand options, but you should make sure that they will support the file format first.
Computers and laptops are the most common items we can think of. While some are jumping on the tablet craze, you should stick with desktops and full notebooks. They will support the most and allow you to actually work to the fullest. Stores like Newegg and all would be amazing options for low costs computers.
Cell phones are used everyday and sometimes we need new ones if our old ones are outdated. Smartphones are a good option for college students, while fancy standard phones are good for highschool students. They have some grand pre-paid plans or low monthly fee for unlimited. So be sure to find a plan that does not require a contract if you don’t want to be tied to one certain company.
MP3 players help make life go by faster and many students will want apps. Thus the iPod touch is a great chance to get the most out of your music player. Plus they look a lot like a iPhone and that status symbol is always a plus. Best of all you can buy them pretty much anywhere now.
Don’t forget to check if your state will have a tax free holiday! Many of those times taxes are also cut off electronics, which means they are a better deal.
What do you think is a must have for back to school? Do you know any good stores or deals, feel free to share them down below.
